The new-generation HTC40P CNC Horizontal Lathe adopts an integral bed with a 45° inclined angle to achieve more stable stress bearing during cutting. The internal rib structure of the high-rigidity bed is optimized with Ansys software, enabling the machine tool to withstand extremely high stress strength and maintain stable 6-order frequency modes. The bed is manufactured from high-density cast iron with high strength and excellent vibration absorption capacity. The enlarged chip removal opening ensures smooth cutting. The machine is fully equipped with hardened slide guides with a guide width of 110 mm and a guide span of 380 mm. The sliding surface of the carriage is coated with plastic lining. This optimizes both static and dynamic characteristics including the rigidity of the feed system and friction damping coefficient. As the static and dynamic friction coefficients are close to each other, low-speed stick-slip is eliminated. Users can attain superior machining accuracy, higher rapid traverse speed and improved production efficiency.
